Manifestation is a hotly debated topic, especially as of late—and for good reason! There’s a fair amount of privilege that comes with thinking that good things will happen to you if you think certain thoughts. It doesn’t take into account societal constructs and systems of oppression.
So do I contribute all of my success and all of the delightful coincidences solely to manifestation meditations? Of course not. But does that mean I don’t utilize this powerful tool? Also, no.
When it comes to meditation, I’m a purist. I love to sit on my meditation pillow, light some palo santo or sage, and set a gentle timer for about 15 to 20 minutes. However, when my head is particularly loud, which is more often than not these days, I spring for a guided meditation. There are so many options for guided meditations, especially when it comes to manifesting.
Before you dive in, though, be sure to consult with the skies. For instance, manifesting during eclipse season can actually backfire pretty aggressively; it can slow your results drastically and lead to some uncomfortable situations.
Also, be sure that you are clear on what you are manifesting. You don’t need to manifest every step of your journey. Instead, it is more beneficial to visualize the end result you are seeking. How you get there simply does not matter. The universe will figure it out as long as you are clear and unchanging on the “there” you are envisioning.
It’s a powerful tool to add to your arsenal and on days when it seems like everything is going sideways and I’m completely stagnant in life, doing these meditations helps hijack and refocus my brain. Here are my five favorites (all within the 10-25 minute range):
Insight Timer: Liza Colpa (14:54)
Youtube: Jessica Heslop (10:50)
Youtube: Great Meditation (19:53)
Youtube: Maria Papapetros (16:21)
Insight Timer: Mel Zabel (20:50)
These are all free or donation-based guided meditations, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Dr. Joe Dispenza’s meditations as well. While he does have a YouTube channel, it tends to have videos of testimonials and lectures only. To purchase his meditations, you can check out his website. Fair warning, though, they are not cheap. However, I’ve tried a few and I can attest to the fact that they are very powerful. He brings scientific research into his meditations, which I nerd out on and appreciate.
I’m always seeking more meditations, though, so let me know what has worked well for you! The internet is such a vast space and everyone prefers something different when it comes to guided meditations. Comment below with your favorite finds!
